Family search opening 2026

STEM is already in your neighborhood. Find it.

One search. Filtered by your kid's age, where you live, and what they're into. No more six tabs and three Facebook groups.

Who this is for

Families with kids who want to build things.

The problem

STEM is everywhere. Finding it is the hard part.

Your kid wants to build robots. Or write code. Or take apart a microscope. The Saturday robotics club exists — but it's run out of a school across the city by a teacher who hasn't updated the website in two years. The library has a coding night, but you only found out because a friend mentioned it. The makerspace meets twice a month, but their Instagram is the only place that lists it.

Manitoba has the programs. Manitoba doesn't have the search.

What CommunAT does for families

  • Search by age, neighborhood, format, language, cost
  • See what's happening this week, this month, this summer
  • Optional reminders for programs your kid signed up for
  • One source of truth instead of six different program calendars
  • Free for families. Always.
Honest stage note

We're building this with member orgs first.

Family-facing search opens once we have enough member orgs listing programs to make the search useful. Listing a half-empty directory wouldn't help anyone. We're onboarding founding orgs through 2026, then opening family search alongside the rollout.

If you want to be on the early list — and get notified the moment search opens — drop your email on the contact page. We won't spam you.

Get on the family early list.

One message. We'll let you know when the directory opens and what's nearby once it does.
